Maxam Training is excited to announce that we are in the final stages of preparing our new Close Protection Qualification Course.  The qualification provided will be the Level 3 Certificate for Working as a Close Protection Operative within the Private Security Industry.  This is the only qualification that will enable operatives to apply for the required Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence to work in this area of employment.

Our Close Protection course will be delivered at our new Southport training venue with realistic exercises being conducted across the North West area.  The delivery team will be made up of qualified and knowledgeable trainers with many years experience of working in this specialist area both within the military and UK police environments.

Our course will incorporate all the skills necessary for those who wish to seek employment within this sector of the security industry.  In addition to the core elements for this qualification, our course will also include:

First aid training for those operating in remote and hazardous environments.

Hand to hand, conflict resolution skills.

Vehicle tactics training.

Counter and anti covert surveillance training from experienced covert operatives.

Employment opportunities with one of the North West main security companies.
